Improves Safety and Satisfaction

eCitation improves officer safety by reducing the amount of time an officer is out of the patrol car or parked on the roadside and distracted by paperwork.

Nationally, being struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop is a leading cause of death for police officers, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The organization reports that 11 officers were struck and killed outside their vehicles in 2013 and six were killed during the first half of 2014.

eCitation systems can lead to more than a 50% reduction in ticketing time, reducing officer exposure time and getting citizens back on the road quicker.
